The short version
Selquarino currently does not set advertising, personalization or analytics cookies. The site uses two simple local-storage values only when you allow essential storage: one remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and one remembers your privacy choice. If you select Use session only, equivalent values are kept in session storage and normally disappear when the relevant browser session ends.
You can decline persistent storage and still read the site. The age confirmation and privacy notice may appear again in a future session.

Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text value a website can ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Local storage and session storage are related browser features, but their values stay on the device and are not automatically attached to every web request.
Persistent local storage
Local-storage values remain after a page or browser closes until they are cleared by the site, the browser, the user or a privacy feature. Selquarino uses this only after you choose Allow essential storage.
Session storage
Session-storage values are limited to the current browsing session or tab. They let the age gate and notice stay dismissed while you move between site pages without creating a persistent preference.
Server-side technical records
Web hosting systems can produce request logs even when no cookie is set. These may include IP address, time, requested page, browser information and security data. They are not browser cookies and are discussed in both this policy and the Privacy Policy.

No value contains a name, email address, password, payment detail, precise location, poker history or advertising identifier. Local and session storage are scoped to selquarino.com and are not designed to follow you across unrelated websites.
04 · Why it is used
Strictly limited functionality
The two values support only:
- the 18+ entry confirmation required for the site’s adult subject matter;
- remembering whether you prefer persistent or session-only storage;
- reducing repeated prompts while you navigate between informational pages; and
- making the privacy notice reflect the choice already made on your device.
They are not used to measure visits, rank users, build interests, serve advertising, calculate odds, process gambling activity or connect activity to an account. The site contains no player account or payment system.
05 · Control
How to change or remove preferences
Use the on-site choice
Select Allow essential storage for a persistent device preference, or Use session only to avoid persistent values. The Cookie choices button in the footer reopens the notice. A new selection replaces the way the notice is handled going forward; you can also clear previously stored values in your browser.
Use browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect or remove site data, block storage entirely, clear data on exit or use a private-browsing window. The exact labels vary. Look for Privacy, Site Data, Cookies, Local Storage or Clear Browsing Data in your browser settings.
- Blocking storage does not prevent access to the written guide.
- If values cannot be saved, the age and privacy prompts may return after navigation or on a later visit.
- Clearing all site data removes the saved age and storage choices.
- Private-browsing modes normally remove session data when the private window closes, but browser behaviour can differ.
06 · Hosting data
Requests, security and delivery
The infrastructure delivering selquarino.com may process standard request details to return pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. A request record can include IP address, approximate network location, timestamp, URL, referrer, user-agent string, response status and automated security signals. This processing can occur regardless of your cookie choice because it is part of operating a secure website.
We do not use those records to offer gambling, create a player profile or serve behavioural advertising. Retention is limited to operational, security and legal needs as described in the Privacy Policy.
07 · Other sites
Third-party links
The responsible-gaming page links to Canadian government, healthcare and community support websites. When you follow one, the destination may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Selquarino cannot read or control the destination’s storage. The current Selquarino pages do not embed third-party video players, social widgets, advertising pixels or analytics tags.
08 · Policy updates
If our use changes
If a future feature requires analytics, embedded media or another non-essential technology, this policy and the preference interface will be updated before that technology is enabled where consent is required. The effective date at the top will change. We will not silently describe advertising or analytics storage as essential.
